News On Corgi's 1st Half 2008 Releases

I just received Modelenium's newsletter announcing the first half 2008 releases planned by Corgi. Five new planes are listed. These are The Sopwith Camel, Fokker DR1, Bristol Blenheim, BF-110C, and DC-3. The latter is depicted as a civilian airliner circa 1959, but the BF-110 looks a lot more interesting. It's got a tiger mouth painted on the nose. Among the older planes, I noted what appear to be BOB versions of the HE-111 and JU-88, plus a Typhoon with rockets and a Guy Gibson Mosquito. We should be getting a lot more information on this shortly.

Re: Corgi 2008 catalog

A Sopwith Camel! Whoo-hoo! (on the other hand, I did not see any other WW I aircraft types that are not already being made )

Re: Corgi 2008 catalog

Ach! When is Corgi gonna give us a new Spitfire mould?
Although I like the looks of the sharkmouth Bf-110. And the Shuttleworth Gladiator, and the Guy Gibson Mosquito... and on, and on...

Nrrrm! Whoosh! Rat-tat-tat!

...an A-4 Skyhawk in Blue Angels scheme!!!

Yes, let me be the first to pick on it just from what I can see...The canopy frame looks quite translucent......classic Corgi joint lines. This one will probably be as good as their Phantom.

Someone besides Corgi please make some Blue Angels aircraft in 1/72nd scale please..
