Re: 1/32 Corgi die-cast and broken parts

Nona came to my rescue to replace my aerial for my Brian Lane spitfire. Thanks again, Nona, you are a Saint!

Re: 1/32 Corgi die-cast and broken parts

I've been lucky that I haven't broken anything off the 1/32 stuff, but my 1/72 stuff is a different matter.. I lose aerials and pitot tubes all the time..

Re: 1/32 Corgi die-cast and broken parts

I voted "none" which is true, but I did accidentally bend the prop, but was able to bend it back to where it should be.

Re: 1/32 Corgi die-cast and broken parts

Anyone ever swapped out the yellow nose cone of the Brian Lane with a black or white nose cone?

Re: 1/32 Corgi die-cast and broken parts

Have'nt damaged one myself but my brother inlaw picked up BBD and flipped her onto its back with the resulting cascade of small parts I ended up with a chipped paint on the engine cowl.Must admit I was not to happy and he now has a profound limp...

Re: 1/32 Corgi die-cast and broken parts

Wife moved the display cases and models and borke off the pitot on my 1/32 Gotz 109. I can't seem to get any decent glue that will hold it on firmly so have just left it off. That is the only thing so far.

Talking Re: 1/32 Corgi die-cast and broken parts

I've been pretty fortunate with my 1/32s, I have 8 with a 109 missing in the post. I have not inflicted any harm to them but my Lane Spitfire came with the prop seperated from the fuselage. Nona came to my rescue with a spare part but I haven't attempted fixing it yet. Now if the question related to 1/72.....
