Corgi token Halifax

I'm sure that it was posted before but I can't remember what 'special' Halifax Corgi is giving away for the six tokens. Can the panel help?

Re: Corgi token Halifax

I hope it is something worthwhile like a Coastal Command version; one lives in hope! The big problem I have now is to find room for the two Halibags that are on order.

Re: Corgi token Halifax

Odds are it will be similar to one of the releases already planned. My guess is it will be the same paint scheme with different codes and possibly nose art. I pray that it isn't a variant of the desert one...

Is it confirmed US buyers can swap tokens for the Halifax? I have five, and should have six by the end of March...

I will be eager to see what the "special" scheme is.. And nothing personal HC, but I hope it isn't a desert one either...

That's O.K., H.

I'll just set up an 'Unwanted Desert Halifax Fund/Sanctuary' & placate those who donate, with a (Token-gesture) '109 or Spitfire (or other such single engined rubbish !!!!).

Cool Re: Corgi token Halifax (enough tokens ?)

I'm sure that it was posted before but I can't remember what 'special' Halifax Corgi is giving away for the six tokens. Can the panel help?

With Corgi scrapping so many new 2007 models will there be enough "blue tokens" around to get a Halifax anyway., its only the standard releases, not preditors, legends, and warbirds that carry these tokens, and you cant interchange them with any post war or modern stuff either (green and yellow tokens). You may end up buying models you dont want simply to get an unknown model you may not get anyway. Corgi does not have a great track record with this kind of promotion.
