It would be nice to see a range of Russain aircraft brought out Shamrock. Its another area to build a collection around. In fact if you think about it its possible already to make a good start with the MEs FWs etc etc. We just need more Russain stuff to go with them. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhh a Russain P40 winter camo!! be still my beating heart. I might just pay serious money for that one. I take your point about the Hurricane but there are better schemes than that. Oh I can't stop thinking about a Russain P40 now. Please Corgi do this one and I promise I will never mention those blobby things you put in the cockpits of your models, the lack of fine detail on most of your stuff and your excessive prices ever again, HONESTLY.

| Re: US35212 Robert H. Vaught P-40E-1 I have two shelves of 'themed' Russian front German aircraft with only a Swedish/Finnish Gladiator to keep them company. Heinkel 111, JU-87's including tank busters, JU-88, ME-110, ME-109Es & Fs, FW-190s etc. IL-2s, Yaks 1-9, LA-5s, PE-2s brought out by a major manufacturer would be welcomed by most collectors IMHO. Decent Axis aircraft are also needed to balance all the Allied aircraft on offer. IXO are available from time to time but they don't cut the mustard I feel. ![]() | |||||||||||||

| Re: US35212 Robert H. Vaught P-40E-1
I agree with in regards to the Hurricane. It's not Soviet, but British. In October of 1941 the Brits send over a squadron (based in the Soviet Far North in the Murmansk and Archangel area) to teach the Soviet pilots and crews how to fly and operate these birds. Secondary purpose was provision of air cover for Lend Lease convoys. The plane as modeled by Corgi is a standard RAF fighter flown by a British pilot. A complete waste of a resources if you ask me. I'm also not so enamored with the Soviet Spitfire, as I hoped for the PR version. Regards, Sergey
