Re: US35212 Robert H. Vaught P-40E-1

And the difference beween a P40 and a P39 is after all only 1 .

(Laughing at one's own attempts at humour - sad, I know .)

Why thank you Jim. Fine praise indeed. While you are BY FAR the #1 advocate of the P-40 around here, I'd like to think that I might be number 2.

How about joint first . Together we shall uphold the honour of the P40 the designers and the heroes that flew them.

I'll help you boys in that regard too. Be nice if Corgi would do a Soviet P-40 - cripes they flew thousands of them, and about as many P-39's too.. OOOPS, there I go again.....

And as the old saying goes that a P-400 is just a P-40 with a Zero on it's tail.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Hey no4mkit, we are getting a nice little group going here. Russian Hurricanes, P40s, P39s. I would be up and at em if those came out in diecast.
The Corgi Hurricane is a good mould of the old girl. They have the P40, I wonder if the pooch could be tempted to run a few off.

Listen up Corgi, You have two moulds sitting there that you could use for a run of maybe 1000 each. Something different instead of just the same old camo schemes. Go on think about it. The winter ones would certainly stand out on the shelves.
I always ask myself if it was my money involved in making these ,would I risk it? In the case of these two "YES". There is a demand there waiting to be fed, go for it.

(I wonder if anyone from Corgi is looking ,I hope so, fingers crossed).

God Bless America.
