The new P-40 "Stud" also came in. You'll see that one momentarily.

Nice pics sir!

Well, the colors look a lot better than I was expecting. Boy, that is a whole lot of yellow. This is one that you buy more for historic reasons than for aesthetics.

I dunno, call me crazy but I sort of LIKE the yellow Looking at these pics, and taking into account the hoopla on the other thread, I'm glad this one is on the way to my hangar!

Don't get me wrong, I dig it too. I may talk a good game but I'm a sucker for a new toy, this one and it's brother will be flying my way soon.

Re: AA36502 Hawker Typhoon Mk.IB No.609 Squadron

I have only one Typhoon in my collection and as you all know it's a IXO so i think these two that Corgi just put out are darn good looking to me.
That bright Yellow really stands out too... but i do think it looks nice. So i'll add this one as well

Re: AA36502 Hawker Typhoon Mk.IB No.609 Squadron

The beast, and it is a beast is well worth having. If you like fighter/fighter bombers both Typhoons are a must. There is nothing delicate about this aircraft as it looks and feels big, brutish, and solid. I'm sure there are faults in these models but not enough to put me off owning them.
The wing chord seems right, 'fish plates' are well done, undercarriage is solid and well designed. Looking at Mark's great photographs makes me want to go out and buy them even though I have them already! PWC,PWC
