Re: Diecast Collecting

Howdie Avro! The Swordfish is Corgi's best new mold and that is quite a set you have there. If they were T-bolts I could have said something sly.

Don't forget the targets are my airfields, Leigh-Mallory, and you're not getting fifty, you're not even getting ten.

Re: Diecast Collecting

Let's face it,

all you guys who collect diecast planes are missing (T) Bolts from your heads!

That doesn't mean much coming from a guy who just found out what happened to Henry Blake on MASH...

Welcome aboard AVRO Arrow. I hope you stick around longer than your namesake!

Hello, I'm the guy who sits next to you and reads the newspaper over your shoulder.

Re: Diecast Collecting

Welcome aboard Avro, I'll echo the comments on your mahogany Arrow, nice piece. I've been thinking of picking up a similarly made CT-114 Tutor at a local shop, also looks nice.

Anyways, Welcome to the Jungle. I've always had a soft spot for your city, used to be our refuge to get out of Red Lake, Ontario, when we lived there.

Enjoy your Swordfish, very nicely done, and they will lead to more Corgi's I'm sure.

Cheers,

SM

Re: Diecast Collecting

Welcome Avro,
The Corgi Swordfish are one of their better, if not best moulds. You did good picking up those birds.

Re: Diecast Collecting

Mo Mo, do those T-Bolts have any impact on the thought process. Which way do you adjust it, when you are trying to justify your next purchase. Or is it a hearing adjustment to tune out the old 'Trouble and Strife' (translating for N.America) Wife:confu sed:
