FedEx just dropped mine off. Really nice model.
I like the new packaging too.
Only 6 tokens to get a Halifax? I should have that many by Easter

The Halifax won't be ready until Christmas... 2008...

Has anyone heard what livery the "free" Halifax will be?

Cost from $34.00 to $43.00, before shipping, at various sites.

Just got mine - Not happy

QC issues with it. There is a paint smudge on the port side national insignia, plus there a loads of glue stains on the bollom of the wings. Seens it was put together by Mr careless. Every single added bit of detail has got an excess glue stain, plus a couple of other thrown in for good measure.

Will be going back

There's just no excuse for it. I got the Old's P38 in the same shipment, and the finish and assembly on that is just outstanding. You would not think that they were produced by the same company.

Maybe you got a Friday @5:00 plane??? Unfortunately, QC issues are going to be present regardless of the control measures when these are assembled by assembly line workers that don't care about quality, just quantity.. I would recommend returning it to the dealer and getting another one..

Hey folks,
The livery on this bird looks really dark, I'm used to seeing much lighter paint jobs. Is that correct, or is it my monitor? (I'm not questioning it autheticity, just my eyesight.)

Re: US32110 Messerchmitt BF 109E Adolf Galland

my came in today right before i had to go to work so i didn't get much time with it, but after my shift was over i sped home and took some pics and all that jazz and i have to say mine is perfect from first glance! i could not find anything wrong with it this is also my first 109 and ill will be getting more 109s in the future cause this was just outstanding! just thought of one thing the landing gear isn't that great so i probably wont be putting this one down on the gear.
