Bats Outa Hell

I pre-ordered the PBJ and love it. After a few folks singing the praises of BOH I thought I would try to find one. Not easy for a decent price. Finally, I came across a site with a few for sale and I must say . This is one awesome piece of metal. I have had it on the shelf for a few days and I can't take my eyes off it. If you are even mildly interested in this one I recommend that you pick it up while you can. It is rather limited (1450) and is a total knockout.

One question I have to owners of the B-25s. Do the bomb bay doors open? They look like they should but I am too much the coward to try and pry them open with anything other than a fingernail and in that department I keep mine hacked pretty short.

Re: Bats Outa Hell

As far as shiny pieces of metal go, it's second only to our own beloved Gort... Aaah, aren't these new smilies adorable?

Anyways, to answer your question, yes you can open the bomb bay doors on Corgi's B-25, which is still the best darn 1/72 B-25 available, and truly proof that Corgi still has a part to play in today's die-cast market.

Corgi B-25 humm....I'll have to check that one out.
I'm looking for either a B-17 , B-24 or B-25 to go with my fighters planes.

One of each would be nice Wouldn't want the heavies to get lonely

I really like Bats - probably my favorite B-25. I also have Black 310 (very nice as well), and also like the look of Crabb 2nd.

The heavies definitely grow on you after you pickup your first.

Totally agree there 214! Love 'em all... But what is up w/ OH-7 and that goof ball weathering job??? I did hear a rumor that it was a mistake in production and Corgi was not pleased but released it anyhow

Re: Bats Outa Hell

From what I remember from MH 1, Corgi released and got such a back lash from vendors and collectors that they took back the remaining stock but there was never any "official" recall.
