Wow, thanks for posting the pictures. This bird looks great. I pre-ordered one about 10000 years ago (Or so it seems.) and I cannot wait for it to finally arrive.

This 'little black number arrived' today. From the off I decided to disarm this aircraft which is easily done. The Vickers K gun pops off. I decided to leave the observer in situ as I didn't want a big hole in the seat. As time goes by I might get braver and remove him. The long range fuel tank looks great along with the overall matt black scheme. The aircraft looks best on the ground with the ladder in place. There is a small gap at the bottom of the cockpit but it's not too noyicable.

Nimrod 48 the ladder was welded onto the side so the agents didn't have to wonder where the heck to hang it as we have to.
V9367 crashed in fog on 12/17/43 killing crew.
I have AA36804 and was disappointed that this one had gunner and weapon until I noticed that Corgi was technically correct according to one ref I have. The MkIII(SD) did not have them while some, with armour and armament retained, were designated MkIIIa(SD)

Thanks for the info Delta Zulu I had kept an open mind on the issue of armament on this model as I have no reliable reference to confirm either way, on the premium AA models such as this Corgi could put details like this inside the box lid.

Thanks for the update Delta. The armament I think in that case should be twin Browning.303 MGs and not a single Vickers K gun. I'm open to correction as always.

Just picked up my first Lysander, on sale and dirt cheap. Fell in love with the thing and ordered two more versions. Very well put together, and an all-around excellent model.
