Re: CHC 500 Issue of AA32108 Certified or Decertified?

I think it was more than a hint - but I read in that it would be with the existing tooling not new stuff - maybe well see some more mossies??

Too much to hope for a P40B then? Oh well more Mossies would be good.

God Bless America.

Timbo,Have to disagree with the first part of your remark. Corgi used it's perogative to withdraw the certification, practially negating this pricey purchase. Purchasers like my self feel cheated, that after the fact they chose us as the goats in this situation. I care not about the uncertified models, or the purchasers who have them. They probably bought them at a good price, and yes, I think it's a very good deal for them. The guys who bought them, have to think if the certification will be accepted as such by collectors who may want to obtain this this model. After all it's the resale market that will determine it's validity.

In so many words the corporate elite has told us in a jargon only they can convey. GET STUFFED LITTLE GUY

Re: CHC 500 Issue of AA32108 Certified or Decertified?

And you have every right to feel cheated if you paid full wack for the model only to find it at a very steep discount minus a small bit of paper 3 months later. As I said the whole policy was for lunatics and yes in the UK the basically shot the market out from underneath themselves. Thankfully, I don't think the same can be said in North America though.

I also have not bought any decerts (apart from the grey CHC 109), and I'm not sure I would unless I was very desperate for a particular model. I'm very glad we did not have this forced on us here. Even the wonderful TM bargins were all fully certed.

Ooops!

Timbo, I bought it solely for my MTO collection. Added the grey 109 this week. Both are certified......for what it's worth......No more will the flight of the Visa take me to UK stores. Hangared It will remain. In my wallet.
