New Corgi Vampire

Hi guys. Picked up this little beauty today; little being the operative word! Minute, micro, tiny are some of the adjectives that spring to mind. Having got the size issue off my chest which is no fault of Corgi but the aircraft size in reality, the cost issue must be addressed. For the size it is too expensive IMHO. Earlier I had posted that it was value for money but I've changed my opinion. It should cost the same as the Spitfire etc in the lower bracket AA.

The camouflage and blue undersides are very attractive and look better than the silver one. I really like this model but I won't be getting any more Vampires because of the cost factor unless they do an Irish Air Corps two seater trainer. Enjoy the snaps.

Re: New Corgi Vampire

Well the twin seats are due out next year and this one would be vey nice

A Gladiator,Lysander and Hurricane would go very nicely with it.

Re: New Corgi Vampire

You're bang on the money there Sniper. What are the chances of an IAC 'Shagbat' Or any 'Shagbat' for that matter!

Re: New Corgi Vampire

Does look much nicer than the silver one with that joint line behind tha cockpit much less prominent.

Not sure I would pay the asking price though, and this was one the the jets I was after.

Ooops!

Re: New Corgi Vampire

Thanks for the great pictures. I'm going to try and not let the small size deter me. I really want one of these birds.

Angry Re: New Corgi Vampire

Still no drop tanks or underwing stores; I'm very disappointed. Corgi really are getting expensive by being "on the cheap" when it comes to detail.

Looking forward to getting this one, though I'll have to cut back on a purchase from HM or GA to do it! (Agree it is a rediculous price...) I finally got around to photographing the first Vampire.
