Re: New Corgi Vampire

Great shots Celtic. That bird looks like it's really movin'! Maybe Corgi should offer theVampires in a value added 'twinpack' for the price of one like shampoo etc! Cat among the pigeons

Re: New Corgi Vampire

Nice pictures Shamrock. Rememember those little guys shooting across the Belfast Lough when I was a boy. Not sure of the MK. could have 5. It looked stubby nosed. Would love to get a model.....but it's kinda small. Were the model to be 1:48 or 1:32 scale I would snap it up. . Looking at the overall size of the model, would you deem it adequate.?

Re: New Corgi Vampire

Hi Swoop. Celtic's snaps are also great. On a value for money scale I'd have to say the model is not worth the money. On the size issue the model is not worth the money. But if you want a Vampire you have to buy into the programme. It appears to be more 1/100 scale although it's not. Having said all that I love my two Vampires. Speaking about vampires anyone remember Ingrid Pitt in 'Twins (Vampires) of Evil' Hammer horror movie from early 70's? Now there was a vampire I would'nt mind getting bit by!!

They would have been Sea Venoms out of RNAY Sydenham (HMS Gadwell),(I have the official history infront of me now) as this was the main overhaul base for them and then the Sea Vixens and Buccaneers.By the way Swoop if you are thinking of coming over this way next year may I suggest around the 20th of June as something VERY interesting is happening in Newtownards that weekend

Re: New Corgi Vampire

It's not fair Sniper. You're going to keep me on tenterhooks waiting until next summer. I'm only 100 miles away. Swoop better start putting his pocket money in a big jar saving for a trip if you reckon it's that good

Thanks for the info Shamrock, will give it a thought. Sniper will mark it on the calendar. I'm due for a visit around that time.

Please assist me somewhat, my old memory in preventing me from getting the date right on.What year or years are in the book that you have.
