| 1:32 P-51D Mustang "Jersey Jerk" I want to know what's your opinion on Corgi's 1/32 P-51D Jersey Jerk. Does anyone have one or seen them ? I like the scheme but i don't know about the flight controls on that thing. I take it off and put it on a reg Corgi Stand. Any help be great. JP | |||||||||||||

| Re: 1:32 P-51D Mustang "Jersey Jerk" Me and Mark (over at Onmark) demo'd one and I thought it was pretty "gimmicky".. I wasn't that impressed other than the fact that Corgi did get the inner gear doors to open/close along with the main gear struts.. It is a VERY unusual paint scheme for a Mustang though and it would make a good conversation piece if you use the electronic base.. (IIRC, I think it also comes with a regular stand, but I might be wrong).. ![]() | |||||||||||||

| Re: 1:32 P-51D Mustang "Jersey Jerk" I've been debating this one for some time. At first glance it didn't strike me postively at all. I do like (and I know this is really a debatable point) the sight and sounds aspect with the motor and all that, (hate the colour of the stand though, I mean really, snot green?) but the colour scheme on this one is almost as hard to like as the Stinger was. I ended up with a stinger because it was really cheap ($45) and will get the Jersey Jerk if I can get it cheap as well because with the Tuskeegee plane out with the same features, this one is really a distant second choice for me. | |||||||||||||

| Re: 1:32 P-51D Mustang "Jersey Jerk" What exactly works on these models, and would anyone describe the effect as convincing? I can picture the propeller spinning, which would be nice, and the gear retracting, but what else? Any sound effects? An interesting concept... thanks! | |||||||||||||
