Yes, I know that it is a "make believe" plane but I think is is pretty cool looking.

I would much rather have the "B" version but like alot of the releases, I will believe it when I see it!.

I am kinda attracted to the price as I am employment-challenged at the moment.

I was looking to pick one up local as I have very little to spend on diecast right now and the idea of shipping being almost as much as plane just kind of strikes me as wrong.

Back to my hunt....

Gunslinger,

I went to Walmart yesterday, but as of yet no Warbird Mustang. Have you tried ebay? I bought one and only paid $9.99 plus shipping. Like you, I like the way it is painted. I know it's a fictitious scheme, but just on looks alone, this plane looks great. I've posted this picture before, but I'm posting it again because it shows that this particular plane can be a really nice addition to a collection.

I think this line will have it's hit & miss models but overall they are a bargin.
