Got the silver swordfish just before christmas. Was going to pass it up but just couldn't.

Glad I didn't as it's absolutly stunning. Definitely my favorite of the year.

Swordfish for me, I now have all four and they are the best diecast on the market. I have also just got the Dragon Me262 nightfighter and thats worth a mention.

Since this list is very lopsided (and justifiably so...) I thought I would put forward a list, of what was actually released as a new mold in 2006. I used Tricatus's site for reference on the release date so there are quite a few to consider. Here are those that I was able to track down:

For all the complaining about slow delivery, Corgi was actually pretty busy with all the 50th Anniversary stuff and Commissions! No wonder I'm broke!
My Favourite big plane (I'm cheating! ) is the Black Cat Cat... and I would put forward a vote for the Me262 in the "small plane" catagory... although I really like the Swordfish & P-38 too!

A quick search 0f evilbay shows no listings for Lysanders and pre-sales only for Typhoons, so they should not really be on the list.. my bad I guess...

Swordfish, hands down.

My favorite among them, the Black Coastal Command, which will probably be the nightfighter Hurricane of the line.

If other categories were included, I'd give the Black Cat PBY the crown for best Bomber type.

I just received my Swordfish on floats and I agree that it's superb! I'm glad that you guys like the Gladiator as well because I plan to make that my next addition.
