Just recieved my MZ Hurri which I have been anticipating as I love the design of it.
However once again I am dissapointed. THe John Kent Spit prop was bent and this Hurri is no better. THe prop does not fit properly and the join lines between the wings and the fuselage are too big compared to other Corgi Hurris.

What is it with MZ?
Has anyone else experienced this? What are your thoughts?

As I say, I like the designs, and an untrained eye may not see these blemishes, it looks good at the right angle in my cabinet but it just dissapointed me, at $77 with shipping to the U.S I think I will pass on future offerings.

Sorry to hear about your less than perfect experience. I was very disappointed with the John Kent Mkvb Spitfire. The prop was loose, and the overall painting left a lot to be desired. At the time it was the only MkVb available in the early war paint scheme. The new Dragon offering will hopefully rectify that.

The Modelzone Mosquito, and Me-109 are trouble free and are to be recommended. Converting Sterling to Euro means adding 50% to the cost and also the P & P must be taken into consideration much like your situation with the $. The Hurricane in this instance 'did not float my boat'.

I haven't found any definite evidence but I believe that this model should also have a tropical filter. Malta was a very dry dusty place made worst by the bombing.
