Awwwww it's mommy made brownies and it got to lick the bowl afterwards...The brown on the nose killed it for me. Shucks. The shoes look like they belong to Lancelot. If it is cheap I might later on but was hoping for a little better color scheme.

Re: Gloster Gladiator J-8A w/Skis Diorama - 1:72 Scale

As P51 said, there will be loads of these dumped so I wouldn't get too worried about not being able to get one. The UK dump prices are likely to be even cheaper than US RRP.

This is true, but you'll get your lunch eaten in postage fees..

Not sure if it was a bargain or not but I just bought a Faith Gladiator off ebay for half Corgi price. $30. UK price that is.

I thought that was a three piece set. Is it not?

From the pics that I have of this particular aircraft, Corgi nailed the look of it 100%. I think that it looks better than the standard scheme flown by the Finns during the same period.

Sergey

I like the fact that we are seeing more dioramas from Corgi. Just like the Flight Line and Nose Art series models I'll likely collect all of these too.

Great pics TSR2!!!! That doesn't look bad at all... I think it is a very unique looking piece..

Can you buy the plane alone or do you have to get the "snow village" with it? Just want the plane myself.

No, it's not a set, some dealers packaged 'em as a set -- but you can buy each, or could, individually.

Model and diorama are sold as one, box for set is large, P+P might be high.

Re: Gloster Gladiator J-8A w/Skis Diorama - 1:72 Scale

Dont think so Boss, they seem to be sold separately. I bought Charity from the Mule, and saw them going cheaper on ebay so I have bought Faith. Just missed a Hope one. Patience is needed but I am sure I will get that one soon. .................................................. ........................................
