Floatplane Swordfish

Just picked up one of these dandies today, and man am I impressed!

Corgi has without a doubt, stepped it up with these latest releases. One of the finest looking models I've seen from them. I really love all of the Swordfish for that matter, but I could only get one this time and I chose the floatplane.

Just looking at it, you get a sense of adventure.

Any pics pleaseeeee? The plane does look good on the Mules website, but their pics are too small.

Re: Floatplane Swordfish

Nice pics. I wish you hadn't included the black one. I told myself I was done with Swordfish after the first... then the floatplane and now the black has caught my eye thanks to you.

I just received mine the other day as well and it is wonderful. First of all, the Swordfish itself is a treat but a floatplane to boot - fantastic. The quality of the Swordfish really has me looking forward to the WWI series.

Re: Floatplane Swordfish

Thnaks for the great pics! Now I have to get this and the black version as well. I already have the 'Sink the Bismark' version. Almost another $100 on the credit card it looks like.

Re: Floatplane Swordfish

Hi guys,

I am now awaiting my 4th Swordfish. Is there no cure for this very addictive, and expensive hobby? The floatplane is a cracker for sure but the Coastal Command version looks very menacing particularly for a U-Boat captain!

Arriving this week are the Hobbymaster F-104 and the Mig 21 and possibly the Corgi P-38 J. Three new superb Gemini Aces are also expected and whatever Corgi can get out from their delayed titles.

It is going to be a cold and hungry January for this family when the credit card bill arrives!

Merry christmas to all my fellow addicts!

Re: Floatplane Swordfish

The new floatplane Swordfish is really nice. It would be really nice if they gave us some stores to go on those wing mounts, but that is just me griping.

Re: Floatplane Swordfish

I don't know about you guys, but my Swordfish may have the smoothest spinning-propeller in my fleet. It goes and goes.
