Question Corgi B-24 Liberator Assembly

Hello to all, I just got one of these today, I bought it because in the pictures it looks pretty good, but when I got it, of course it looks way different than even the box.

The box shows a shiny finish, the actual plane is flat, And of course I did not know all the guns and turrets would be empty, no guns, I guess it did not need any?

Also was wondering about the fit up front, seems to be quite a poor fit up there from the plastic to the metal on the nose?

Just wanted some opinions and any info you want to share on this model

I did get a deal at $58.00 plus only 9.95 shipping. or at least I thought I got a deal, may not have been the best B-24 choice?

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator Assembly

Which B-24 did you get ?
Most are flat not glossy but i would think you have gun's in the turrets.

That's why there are no guns-it didn't go to war, was just used to help assemble the one's that WERE.

They would fly that aircraft out infront of the others to get them all of the group in proper formation before turning back to base to let the others bomb the enemy.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

That was my first one I got of the two I own (other is a Dragon and its Tail) and I like it overall. I was worred about it not having any guns too when I first got it until I found out more about it.

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator Assembly

For some reason I prefer planes with no guns.
Actualy I prefer them without guns because they are fragile and can breakeasily when the plane is in flight.
