"Marge" P-38 supply/demand - Survey

The Corgi "Marge" P-38 has a production run of 3990. This seems pretty large compared to most Corgi runs over the past couple years. "Reports" are that these are "sold out."

How many did or will you, personally buy?

(Thought question - with the size of the run relative to demand, what is the chance that we may see some of these show up in Tuesday Morning in a couple years? Is this a ridiculous idea or a distinct possibility?)

I just received an FM "Marge" & won't be adding a Corgi. (Unless it's a TM special!)

Still seem ez to find online, so don't know about the "sold out" but I'll not be getting one -- already have Speccast's version, and while I can hear Skunky snickering, it's good enough for me

I'm waiting for Olds ride myself...

This plane IMHO can be described with one word: BBBBOOOORRRIIINNNGGG

As I've said before, I'm not an ace driven collector so I won't buy it just because so-and-so flew it. As far as an eye-popping, spectacular scheme that just grabs you...... This plane doesn't do much.

This scheme does nothing for me - I won't be buying it. I'm waiting for the Old's one, and probably will get California Cutie as well.

Not rich, and there are a lot more good models coming out these days--so only one. Looking forward to the Olds.

Re: "Marge" P-38 supply/demand - Survey

I have to agree with HotTrap about this model it really does nothing for me. So I will pass and sit happily with my 2 Matchbox 38's for now. Some time in the near future they will come out with a scheme that will grab me, no rush though there are lots of other models out there to get a fix.

not so much snickering, as it is more like a belly-bustin' guffaw there, Pap....

I won't be getting this one because I don't care enough for P-38s to have one be taking up precious space, paint scheme is boring and I don't like the name 'Marge'.....
