Re: "Marge" P-38 supply/demand - Survey

I must be the only one that P38's don't do anything for. I won't be rushing out to get this one.

fileasfog doesn't like the P-38 either. That makes two of you

The Bong and Olds P-38s will be quite enough for me. Ahem - unless, of course, they come out with a RAF version.

Re: "Marge" P-38 supply/demand - Survey

You do. That is why I got you the IXO one for Christmas.

As long as I am clear on where I stand.

I guess I ought to be careful though as I have a few friends who whether they say "friend of mine" or "friend of ours" can have a bit of a sway on how things go.

I love my goombah buddies... and MH2 buddies as well.

Re: "Marge" P-38 supply/demand - Survey

Mine was just delivered today, and it looks rather nice set up next to the Zeros. Much better than the full scale fiberglass P-38 at one of the local air museums.

I am passing. An Olds type with D-Day stripes looks probable but the one with blue trim coming up has really caught my fancy sorry Dick just not into Marge.

Re: "Marge" P-38 supply/demand - Survey

Gavin, I think you misunderstood. It isn't who will buy 4+ P-38s it is who will buy 4+ "Marge" P-38s.

I'll definitely buy more than one P-38 but only one Marge.

My bad!
Put me down for the deuce!

Re: "Marge" P-38 supply/demand - Survey

I wasn't going to buy a Marge, but after seeing Marks pics, I had to get one, also for the fact that Bong is the TOP American Ace in WWII.. I do think that those who pass this one up will be scrambling for them later or griping about paying top dollar for them on Ebay a few years from now...

Re: "Marge" P-38 supply/demand - Survey

How 'bout this part of the original question/post?

...With the size of the run relative to demand, what is the chance that we may see some of these show up in Tuesday Morning in a couple years? Is this a ridiculous idea or a distinct possibility?

Anyone???????????????????????
