Re: A-10

the quoted price for Corgi A-10's look to be about double HM's. Certainly not worth it for me

Re: A-10

I have the HM A-10 "Showtime". Great model, great story behind it, a real piece of modern history. Much better than a generic A-10 without a story.

I can not see Corgi's beating it.

Re: A-10

I am curious about what weapons Corgi will include with theirs. HM did a frankly terrible job with the A-10 in that regard. Plane's great, weapons aren't.

I too am curious about Corgi's A-10 offering. I did not buy the HM A-10s because I usually have my planes with the gear down, and HM had the A-10 nose gear door in the worng position. Up.

Re: A-10

Being a big fan of the A-10, I'm pretty excited about Corgi's offering. While I love the HM releases, despite a few flaws, I'm not thrilled with their paint schemes...too many 'special' one time versions. Corgi's 81st and 354th FS schemes will be must buys for me, as they represent the real A-10s flying everyday. I'm really anxious to see if Corgi will include the door/ladder as on some of the pre-pro pics. Having two different molds and companies producing this jet is a win-win situation, and maybe even more compaines will join in.
