Re: Where did Corgi make the most errors

I voted for the Mustang, but think there should be a spot there for Research, QA, Marketing, and Business practices.
That is where the most errors are made at Corgi.

Re: Where did Corgi make the most errors

Seems Jim will not release the location of his tied up goat!

You bet parsig, not with all these nutballs around.

BTW nothing can spoil my day , today is all about ME ME ME !
Many thanks to MH for the birthday greetings,

A P40 arrived in the post, I will rephrase that, A model of a P40 arrived in the post today, one of FMs attempts at a P40,
it is wearing a very sun bleached coat of paint , heck its almost White.
it came with a nice pair of bombs under the wings.

I am not going to delve too much into this model I shall avert my eyes to any faults and just enjoy it.
I expect another in the post in the morning, the one with all the travel badges on.
Oh BTW I also got the DVDs of Flags of our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima as presents.
I also got a plant pot holder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems I am being taken out for dinner tonight but I am paying???????

How did that happen?????????????????

God Bless America.

I voted against the Mustang as well though the Corsair could be there as well. I agree with 150% with Merritec's comments! Amen brother!

Re: Where did Corgi make the most errors

Well I was going to say the Spit, but that is an obsolete mold that they are just ringing the last out of, and IMHO compares favorably with molds of similar age.

The clincher here has the be that awful P51B mold. With the current competition laying down very high standards I just fail to see how anyone at Corgi could see that this was not a stinker. Mgmnt should NOT have signed off on this one for production - it's a real embarrassment.

Ooops!

The P-51D molds should have been mothballed a long time ago. Must admit that I like their K "Mrs. Bonnie".

Re: Where did Corgi make the most errors

Hey folks,
As usual for Corgi, whenever they take a step forward, they follow up with three steps back.

I had one of each of the Flying Mule Specials on order. Once I saw the pictures of the new P-51b I canceled all the pre-orders. I'd like to think that Corgi will always step up and get better and better, but that certainly doesn't seem to be the case. It's unfortunate as I WANT to love Corgi and sing their praises, but just cannot.

Granted, I really don't need the extra $160.00 in pending charges. Ultimately, that is the main reason for the cancellation Having stated that, if the planes were good enough, or my hopes that their future moulds would be good enough, I'd have made some sacrifices and found the cash.

Anything for a weird life.

That's what I find sooooo disapointing - They should have canned this when they saw what a dog it was. Does not hold good for the future.
