Re: Corgi 2007 Releases: D-Day Museum Series (Aviation Archive)

Forgive me for asking, but why is Corgi electing to make some of the better schemes (IMHO) in the lower priced Warbirds collection? It would seem that they would want to make the (potentially) more popular schemes priced to maximize revenue. Specifically, I am talking about the following:

P-38 Pudgy
P-38 California Cutie
P-47 Maggie
P-51 Hurry Home Honey
Typhoon ZZ

Personally, I would have paid the premium to get these planes in their full AA form (pilot, landing gear, etc..).

Or are they leaving the door open for someone to do a limited edition, full AA edition. Someone call the FM or OMI...

are not Warbirds releases that's why I moved them into this thread where they belong. The others however...

OOOPS!!!!! When I read the thread, I could have sworn it said Warbirds and not Aviation Archive at the top of the images. My bad - Sorry!

Well, I will say that I am a little happier now that they will be AA releases....now to work on the rest of them!

They may very well have. I think they did when they were in their former thread.
