Re: 1:32nd Hurricane, AOC Malta, Luqa, Malta, 1942

If the price is right pull the trigger on this one. I had it last year and thought it was a fine aircraft albeit with one or two faults which would not bother me. The undercarriage support struts are clear plastic which must be painted. The Hispano cannon are well done IMHO. The Royal Navy Hurricane came along at the right price and I moved the Park aircraft along purely for space(lack of) reasons.

I've looked at the Park Hurricane because of the cannon and regardless of the faults. I don't think its bad. I think it comes down to price at the end. I'm definitely going to wait for the Night Reaper. I thought only one Hurricane would do but I'm having a rethink. Too often we're influenced by our piers on the forums for the good and the bad. I held back on the Corgi 1/32 Hurricanes for a long time. They're not perfect but they are nice. If YOU want this one, you go for it. I'm thinking of getting two more now.

Hi Fly (hey Im a poet, that rhymes), The Park Hurri is not that bad.
It has its faults as stated, undercart strut clear plastic, anaemic pilot, and nose cone is indeed wrong type with no back plate but show me a perfect diecast!

These sell cheap over here, I paid around $40 for mine I think.

If the price is right dont be put off by these small imperfections.
It sits real well on top of my cabinet.

The Sea Hurri is the best of the series, but its the best of the prices, I would have to pay double the money for that one.

God Bless America.

I've got to agree, I sold mine off during my moving sale, then bought it back when I was kicking my heels in California...paid less for it the second time around then I did the first. It's the only 1/32 Naval Aircraft I know of yet...aside from Hobbymaster's upcoming Dauntless.

Let us know what you think when you get. It would be most interesting to hear your thoughts once it's yours.
