That's what I always say....

.....'swoon' does mean the same thing as 'hurl', doesn't it?....

Re: Favorite Corgi Aircraft of them all

while not my favorite plane or mold, I have to say the Corgi "Sink The Bismark" Swordfish is my best model due to it's terrific detail and functional quality. As far as my favorite that's easy my Apollo Seaking.

Re: Favorite Corgi Aircraft of them all

Man this is a tough one but if I would have to pick one and only one it would have to be my 1/32 Mosquito PR 544 Sqd. The fit and finish is great and it just stands out amongst my other aircraft due to its size and color. Still trying to hunt down the other 2 1/32 mossies at a reasonable price. Don't think that will happen now though, with Corgi not making 1/32 anymore.

As much as I seriously like my Dambuster Lanc (1/72), I honestly have to say that my Canadian Pacific Airlines Bristol Britannia 314 is my all-time champ. (I actually bought 2!) Every now and then in the early 60s, CPA would use them on our route and I would see them in exactly that very livery, whirr up to our terminal In Prince George, BC. Truely -- they were whispering giants. Magnificent!

Yup -- ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! According to all my reference books, home movies and personal photos of this aircraft -- Corgi got this one 100%!
