Re: snafu catalina

Anyone actually try to float their Catalina yet?

Before you do you might want to condsider Archimedes' Principle. Buoyancy provides an upward force on an object and the magnitude of this force is equal to the weight of the displaced fluid. Displacement is the term used for the weight of the displaced fluid and is an equivalent term to buoyancy. Archimedes called this upward force upthrust. It is equal to the weight of the displaced fluid. The weight of the displaced fluid is directly proportional to the volume of the displaced fluid.

After posting that, I did look again, and said to myself, "By George, that DOES look like George! However, realizing that Skunky would NEVER be disrespectful to the President, I now know that it could not be George!
