How do you mount these P-38s ?

I picked up Marge and while its a great plane, for the life of me I cannot get the plane to sit tightly in the mount. Whats the secret to getting the plane to sit still and secure??

Try putting the back V part in first and then the front of the wings should push down into the stand.

You might want to soften up the rubber with a hair dryer also. I did not have to do this but it was mentioned in an earlier thread on this same topic when the
P-38's first came out.

Re: How do you mount these P-38s ?

The V on the back of the stand snaps against the plane to hold it tight. You need to use a little force to get it on the first time, it is a very tight fit.

Ooops!

Don't know what all these other guys are talking about but there's a retractable ladder in the rear of the fuselage.
