Corgi will soon have a tooling for the early series P-38s!

I was just looking through the pre-orders now available at TFM, and it struck me that the cowlings on the F-4-1-LO (AA36606) are those lovely art-deco affairs standard on the E/F/G/H series! See http://www.tricatus.co.uk/aa36606.htm. Don't know how I missed this before!

Perhaps we will see a proper Glacier Girl for 2008?

I would love to see a Galcier Girl. P-38F that was raised out of a Glacier and restored to flight status.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Me too put me in line for Glacier Girl...
I think that would make a hot seller for Corgi in 2008.

Heck yeah. That would also be cool if Corgi would do something in partnership with the Glacier Girl museum.

It would be great if Corgi would donate a little from each sale to the museum I heard that it cost $2 million to raise and rebuild her.

Glacier Girl was just sold from what i've heard. Provenance Fighter Sales is the new owner. might see it back on the air show circuit now, who knows. it would be a great marketing idea to tie these two in together.

It is really sad since they are the people that busted their butts to get it in the air.
