I want those too, but I'll have to hold tight with my 909 and Yankee Doodle for now. MNR is first on the nex big bird list, then BOL. Good pics and congrats.

Hi Rictor, that BOL looks very nice, its on my list but I cannot seem to locate one at a price I can live with.
They are comparatively cheap in the US but the shipping is a nightmare.
You have done well and I am sure will get much enjoyment out of them.

God Bless America.

Re: 2 B-17's Just Landed......

Hi Jim

I was surprised how reasonable shipping was to Canada from the US. The price was very reasonable as well. I would check ebay I know there is one available now from the seller that I used. Search Choate76 and you should find him if not let me know I will post the link. Ask him for a quote for shipping to your location. I think you may be pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend him.

Let me know how it goes.

All the best.

That is reassuring to know, as I just bought Bader's Hurricane (Corgi 1:72) from him and he did quote a very fair shipping price. (Yup -- another Toronto guy)

Between the pictures posted by Shawn507 and rictor, I am starting to feel the severe uncontrollable urge to acquire a heavy.

Same thing with me. Caught the B-17 bug from this site.
Just bought Bit of Lace and 909 this week. Fine models.
Am usually a Brit/RCAF fan but these 2 fit well with my RCAF Wellington and Lancaster.
