Re: 1/32 'Battle Scarred' Spitfire (Lane)

Come on Skunky! Be nice now, didn't you pick up the anxiety in Cardinals' note. Paid big bucks and got a lemon. Not a great feeling.

I know that must suck. I have one in my collection, and have got to tell you that it is my favorite Spit.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

I didn't mean to rub salt in the wound, I was just stating how I would feel now knowing how cool this model is. Did I just do it again?

Re: 1/32 'Battle Scarred' Spitfire (Lane)

I was simply trying to point out to Cardo that he got exactly what was advertised and should feel grateful.

The person who we should be feeling sorry for is mustangdriver..He paid big bucks for a "battlescarred Spit" and his arrived in perfect shape, yet it's still his favorite. Talk about a guy who can maintain a good attitude when dealt a bad hand..Instead of complaining about it and returning it back to the dealer, he instead chose to make lemonade out of a lemon and accepted it for what it was. He did not allow the pristine perfectness of it to make him become bitter. I ask you - How many of us would have been able to do the same?

Hats off to mustangdriver...We could all take a page from his book - especially a "certain someone" from New Zealand who shall remain nameless...Okay okay, you guys are relentless-it's Cardinal.

I almost spilled my juice on myself reading that this morning. Did the guy you bought that spit from have any more?

Re: 1/32 'Battle Scarred' Spitfire (Lane)

Another great pairing is the Hartman and Barkhorn 109s and I believe these are still readily available relatively cheap. I think these two AC will also be pretty collectible.
Taff

PS ZS-VAN, I also have these two as well just to pee everyone off

I hope so I bought all the Me109s, but then again it does not really matter what price they sell at because I dont want to sell any of them, ever.

God Bless America.
