Re: Corgi 1:72 Plane Sets

Can't figure the Blitz set currently top of the charts. I'm confused. Really. I passed it up, only liked the 109. Boring He111. Hhhmmm, to each his own I guess. What works for you, works for you.

You know i don't have the Blitz set but a friend of mine does and it's a really nice looking set he has.
I don't collect the German planes all that much other then the Bf109 & Me 262.
Take my word for it the Blitz set is nice if you collect those kind.

Re: Corgi 1:72 Plane Sets

How is a Pathfinder He-111 and Heinz Barr's Me-109 boring, and it's certainly more accurate than most other sets, including the Lanc Pathfinder set.

The RLM65 on Barr's 109E is so different than all the other Corgi or Dragon 109Es it really stood out....and not in a good way.

Re: Corgi 1:72 Plane Sets

Maybe because its RLM76 or it's just faded In anycase it's certainly more accurate than the blue Mustang from the War in the Pacific (NOT) set

Re: Corgi 1:72 Plane Sets

Wouldn't the Merlins over Malta set qualify for this poll? I probably would have chosen it as #1, but instead I have picked the BB Lanc Spit and Hurri as it is also a fantastic choice.

May the farts be with you, and not me.

They only made 600 of them so vote on.

Re: Corgi 1:72 Plane Sets

yeah but theres a lot of decertificated Legends sets about, which is why I voted for it!

i couldn't say no to all deep-blue spitfire

must say I think the Mossie in the Pathfinder set is one the best 1/72 ones they've done
worth buying on its own

Re: Corgi 1:72 Plane Sets

I have the BOBMF set and the MOM set and while both are superb, I have to say the MOM set (limited edition) is the nicest "collector's set" I've seen so far. The addition of the sigs and fabric are very cool to have, and teh fact that the profits went to the restoration and flight of the aircraft took any guilt I might have felt out of the purchase

Re: Corgi 1:72 Plane Sets

Now that you've added the MOM set, is there any way I can go back and change my vote in the poll?

Re: Corgi 1:72 Plane Sets

I'd held my vote 'till the MoM set was added...well, that, and that I don't actually HAVE any of the others....anyway, now I was able to vote..yea!
