Having four little blue windows didn't stop me from buying this sweet B-24.
This Strawberry Bitch is one fine diecast.Great detail too.

The are actually eight blue windows, and the detail is no better than any other version imo.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: Corgi B-24 Strawberry Bitch Liberator

I knew you like it....
You know i did a little research on this B-24 and one thing i did notice they kept adding a windows here and there with the later models.
Even took out a couple of them below the side gunners.
So the amount of windows varied from plane to plane

Re: Corgi B-24 Strawberry Bitch Liberator

Same with guns in the nose. The B-17's and B-24's were always being field modified. For example the Memphis Belle has twin fifties that fire through the glass nose.

That photo really shows how much the Libby looked like a cow with Mickey Mouse ears stapled to its tail....
