Looks very nice Wespen...I have 1 Wellington in my collection and it's the 419 Sqn RCAF AA34803.

Agree, the Canadian Wimpey is "the" version to have as it best illustrates the aircraft in its heyday. Its an absolute classic and one of my favourite Corgis. I have the CC one too, but was a bit disappointed in the nose treatment. The pre-war 9 Sqdn issue also sits proudly in my case as it shows the variation of the fuselage window belt.

I might add more pictures later on, but at the moment I'm slightly nervous about handling it too much.

Hoping to get the RCAF one as well eventually. I did consider it carefully before choosing this one.

Congrats...you have a copy of one of Corgi's better moulds. I ended up with the Burma model (because that issue was particularly...ummm...affordable!), and am very satisfied. (Envy your opportunity to actually buy from a shop! I've never SEEN a diecast shop, let alone been IN one... )

Nice one Wespen no Wellingtons in my collection yet but I fancy AA34803 having lived only a 20min drive away from Mildenhall I thought that would be the one to have.
