No more Nose Art series??

Didn't see any in the releases.....kind of bummed over this, I really thought that was cool. I guess at least it's one less thing to buy now! Oh well......

Re: No more Nose Art series??

I was thinking about that myself...I don't own one but I think the nose art is a nice touch

Given the discontinuing of the 1/32, the addition of Predators, the new 1/48 series, not to mention their merger with Master Replicas, it seems like the suits at Corgi have been very hot to change things up.

Re: No more Nose Art series??

I really like the idea of the noseart series a lot, but I think corgi made some poor choices on what models to make in the line -- it seems to be that the more elaborate the nose art on the real thing, the better Noseart series model... but they put some dull ones in there IMHO.

If they'd come out with a lot of the vargas-inspired noseart panels, I bet the line woudl have sold better

Well boys don't lose hope just yet. Remember legends died last year and have been resurrected again.

For me the question is, are there no more 1/32s. I still have to get a Hurricane.

What are you basing that on? They haven't restarted the Legends lineup.

Re: No more Nose Art series??

If they wanted this to be a sucess I think thay should have done more like "Bit-o-lace" instead of ones like "oh-7" or the desert 109.

I realy like them, but some of the subjects were a little uninspiring.

Re: No more Nose Art series??

I agree with you guys. Bit O Lace and Eagleston's P-47 I thought were good choices, I'm actually excited to receive my Down for Double, but Michigan B-24, and while I like the two planes, B-25 Oh 7 and P-51 Mrs. Bonnie (one of my favorite corgi mustang schemes)...the nose art was not up my alley as far as those choices. So many other great ones, or yeah, like mentioned, why not do a Pin up set or something along that nature....

Miss Plainfield was a good one.

Re: No more Nose Art series??

I just wonder if a little bit of PC'ness crept into their choices so they didn't pick the more risky ones and kept it safe.
