Question Quality Difference between Collectors, Warbirds and Legends Series???

My main question :

Is there a difference in the moulding and therefore the actual quality and look of the planes between the three main Corgi Series => The Collectors Series, the Warbirds Series and the Legends Series?

I know there seems to be some price difference in the lines, and there's the differences of what type of stands, whether they have pilots and whether the landing gear is up or down.

But is there an actual difference in the planes? Does Corgi put out a plane in the Legend Series and have the exact same plane in the Collector Series? Would it maybe be the same mould but different liveries?

I'd love to know before I start in on planning for the 2007 releases, since the only Corgi I have are a pair out of the Collectors Series and the Short Sunderland in the Legends Series.

Any info. from folks who have more Corgis than I would be appreciated. Thanks, Danka and Domo Arigato!

I see no difference between the AA line and the Legends, as far as the moulds go. I do not have any of the Warbird series, but many here have noted the lack of detail in at least some of them, ie. lack of guns!

However, I understood they were no longer making the Legend series.

Looks like they're back on according to the catalog.

The new "Legends" is not what we are used to.. I think the line refers to actual "Legends of aircraft".. I just don't see Corgi doing a "cheap" swordfish or Gladiator, as theres too much involved in making them..

I agree with hworth on this . I think they're referring to the real 'legends' in the truest sense of the word and not their former die-cast range.
