Smile I may have to eat my words....

I am floored by this huge bi#ch slap that Corgi just dealt to the other diecast companies and nay sayers of which I admit I was one of the latter. When the Glads and Swords arrived I could not believe the quality and attention to detail. I thought Corgi was at the end of it's rope up to that point now look what they have done. They have breathed new life into me and given me planes I thought I would never see like the Albatross, Se5a, Ju-52, and Ch-34. If they do the paint and markings and pilots well I am going to keep my trap shut. My office is bursting with models and from the looks of thing it is time for a huge e-bay sale in preparation for these scrumptious goodies. I guess the days of 3 of's and 4 of's are long gone. I am still in shock from these announcements and will get my pennies in a jar as often as I can because I will not miss out on any of these awesome models. Corgi I would like to thank you in advance for listening. It seems you have been here with us all along you were just wanting to surprise us!

I guess when Corgi flexes it's muscle it doesn't mess around.

I think that we'll need to amend that poll for the biggest diecast event of the year.

I hear you buddy, I was one of those guys too. They seem to be putting out some good stuff.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

I am not eating any words until I have a P-38 and Typhoon in my hands.

Re: I may have to eat my words....

I am with you on this. However, I've seen a few diecast car manufacturers publish HUGE "coming attraction" lists, only to have them stretched out over 3-4 years instead of 1.

Here's hoping for the best.

Re: I may have to eat my words....

I just visited every post of the new Corgi products that Admin put on and I'm am duly impressed. They've got an incredible selection that will be offered. I guess I'm not the diecast collector I should be because nothing there screamed out "must buy". I must be lucky that I'm not obsessed about buying everything. Will save me lots of money.

Happy to see that Corgi will be around for a while longer.

Its just that they are a bit hard of hearing

Seriously, the 07 releases look superb, I just hope Corgi are around long enough to see them come to fruition
