Does anyone have the Tamiya Hetzer TM26504?

I have the new Squadron July catalog and just called in a order today which includes a 1/48 scale German HETZER (Mid-production Training Unit) tank destroyer that is a FINISHED MODEL made out of die-cast with plastic parts (TM26504). Does anyone have this or know anything about it at all? Anyone have pictures? For the sale price of $42.99 I thought it is a good buy. The regular price is $58.50 also.

The Tamiya Masterworks collection seems pretty good and comparable to dragons 1/32 prebuilts.. I know Michtoy has theirs VERY cheap at the moment if you're looking for more..

Does sounds good. I mainly collect 1/72 scales but now I will have this one as well as a 1/32 Forces of Valor German Sturmgeschutz III Aust. F that I bought at the local Target last month for $14.99 ($5 off the regular price of $19.95). You can barely buy a Dragon 1/72 scale tank for that!

I purchased an earlier Hertzer and a Panther from this line and found them to be excellent, with lots of detail. Two problems. First, they are virtually all plastic but there seems to be some metal inserted internally to give them more heft. Second, both of my German models utilize the same three-tone paint scheme and the colors are completely identical, giving them a look of sameness that I don't relish. Still, I think that you will like the Hertzer, which is a relatively rare item for AFV collectors.

I've got the whole series and think they are fantastic. Nice scale and well done.

Which ones are available? Is there a site where these are listed (doesn't have to be for sale) and have pictures? Thanks!

I really like this scheme. Would love to have this one to go with the 'desert camo' when it is available.
