Thumbs up Re: Lockheed SR-71

I'm proud to say this big beautiful bad boy is winging its way to me!!

I figured it will be a long time before we ever see one in 1/72 diecast sadly, so I took the plunge into plastic.
Chris has been a pleasure to deal with - I can't wait to see this land on my doorstep - YEEHAH!!

Take it out and play with it

Re: Lockheed SR-71

Nice looking build Chris.

Did you use a matt finish product on the tranfers?

The transfers on my SR-71 look very glossey under certain lights.

Cheers,
DV

Re: Lockheed SR-71

Chris, always great to see your talent at work!! Good job.

I'm amazed at the size and it's only 1:72 scale! I guess I'm use to the 1:72 size fighters of WW2
