Re: 1/72 Airfix Sunderland

This is a very well executed Sunderland, I wish Corgi would make one in diecast

Re: 1/72 Airfix Sunderland

Fantastic job Chris! Build some extras and they will sale for a pretty penny. I would buy one as you will never see this bird in 1/72 scale and I am way to lazy to build one now. Maybe Altaya will do one in 1/144 scale and that would be it though.

Yes, I would like one in 1/72 scale also. I wouldn't want more than just one livery though.

Re: 1/72 Airfix Sunderland

smartd,
Some of us are spoiled and want to keep all our birds in one scale. I will grant that the one 1:144 Corgi bird I own, the Nasa B-52, is wonderful. However, I'll second the motion that I'd lode to see this bird in 1:72 scale and I'd snap one up in a hearbeat.

Anything for a weird life.

Re: 1/72 Airfix Sunderland

I only build 1/72 thru to 1/32 as commissions .So far i ship to Ireland ,France ,and UK. I am up to building more and shipping isnt that expensive Worldwide .I would imagine somewhere in the region of a shipped 1/72 diecast fighter ,although model is light i have to use strong box and plenty of shredded paper. As yet i have not heard of any breakages .
