Hurricane I ,Irish Air Corps

This is the old Airfix Hurricane I kit finished as 105 of the Irish Air Corps 1943.finished a usual with Xtracrylix and using an old decal sheet from Scale Aircraft Modelling dated 1981 makes a slightly different looking Hurricane. The white backing for the bosses had to be masked and painted as were the tricolours below the wings.Excuse the dog hairs on the fireplace.

Super job Sniper. Now all you need to do is the Lysander, Hudson, Gladiator, and Battle.

Re: Hurricane I ,Irish Air Corps

That looks very nice mate, I just wish they'd re-paint the Tr.IX IAC-161 back into her proper IAC colours again at Duxford! The KLu markings look great, but the IAC ones looked better.

Re: Hurricane I ,Irish Air Corps

I could use some more Hurricanes with a some variation in paint schemes.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.
