BBI 1/18 hornet

Anyone owns a BBI 1/18 hornet?

Does it feel more like a toy than a model?

How detailled is it?

Is it worth having?

Thanks for you comments.

Well never seen one of those but I did see the P 51 old crow when I was last down to the states, and it was cool so I can just say that the 18 would be too!!

The Spitfire Emporium in Kitchener had one hanging from his ceiling. Looked really nice but too pricey for me.

Yeah the F- 18 and the F-16 were both 99.99 if memory serves. Too rich for me.

Nice models but they do take a lot of space. Still trying to find a home for my 1/18 F-104.

Re: BBI 1/18 hornet

The BBI 1:18 F-18 is a great one to have.It has great wing support and the detail is great.
It's much more to scale then the BBI F-16 IMHO.
I have 2 of them.

This one is my favorite...

Here is my Marine F-18 and you can see the BBI F-16 in this one.

Re: BBI 1/18 hornet

They're in the $100 ballpark. I'd say they're worth the price.

I checked back in december and they were sold out. They were asking 130$. On ebay, they go for as much as 175$ + shipping. They are kind of hard to get I guess. For 100$ I would probably get one... Anyone knows a good source?
