Those pics are great Starman. Stunning job! How long did it take? Hard work?

Thanks ZS it's good to see you on the forum again too.
It took me about a month or so to make it.
I only worked on it when i had the time too.
Pretty easy to build and had alot of fun doing it.

Thanks Starman, it's great getting back. Just set up ADSL and wireless network at home so I'm happy as a clam! I envy you, with my two little men I'd never stand a chance!

Re: Red Baron's Fokker Dr.1 1:28 scale

Nice looking Driplane, Starman.

I think I posted this elsewhere ages ago, but the very first line controlled model which I built was the RB's Dri.

It was made of Balsa and thin gauze. The gauze was painted then doped to give it strength. The lines controlled the trim and you could make it climb and land.

It lasted for about a week after which the the control lines parted company with the plane and it soared in freedom to the nearest rowan tree and demolished itself in a swelter of flying fabric and strangled struts.

I still have dreams about it.

Do I need professional help?

MoMo

Yes MoMo, but it has nothing to do with dreams of RB's Dri.....

Skunky, you need a new avatar. I can't make out which is the front and which is the back.

Is there any difference? I think Skunky is Irish judging by the Leprachaun looking for the pot of gold!
