| Re: Some Tamiya 1/32 Hand-builts Congratulations are in order TopHat !!!!!! You've done an excellent job. They still are the "Rolls-Royce" of a/c kits. Tamiya kits were easier to get over this side of the pond, before the previous distributor went ***'s-up. Managed to get my F.4-J at a national kit fair for only £ 50. The F.4-C/D's were going out for around £ 60, though I did attend one airshow (Biggin-Hill) where one dealer was putting out the USAF F.4-C/D for a meagre £ 39 - (a one-off time situation). When the 'Marine' Version came out, they were going for £ 110. Loads of (not so well off) guys in the U.K. went out & bought the (newer) Revell 1/32nd kit - moulded in a strange tan/earth brown colour. I bought their 1/32 RF.4, which is still in my loft. | ||||||||||||||
