| Re: Italy's Maltese Falcons Meet Their Match Neat! I do like the Fiat G-50, and it would sure be nice to see some Italian aircraft get done in diecast.(Kingfisher looks pretty cool too.) | |||||||||||||
| Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes. | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Italy's Maltese Falcons Meet Their Match Ed, if you painted that bomber, you did a fantastic job on the pattern. How do you get yourself prepared for a paint job like that? | |||||||||||||

| Re: Italy's Maltese Falcons Meet Their Match
Thanks, Ara. Yes, I painted the Cant. When I do any of these planes, I make it a point to look at as many pictures as possible, with special attention to color hues and markings. I have a fairly extensive library of books, including those about less popular air arms like the Soviets, Italians, Romanians, Finns, and, of course, the Japanese. I also had the foresight to amass a huge collection of decals, including many out of the ordinary subjects, which affords me the flexibility to try almost any plane and scheme. | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Italy's Maltese Falcons Meet Their Match Very methodical and painstaking. Good going. Those books of your make for great reading. I have a few titles on the G.50 and it's fascinating. | |||||||||||||
