tamiya 1:350 Yamato masterworks collection

My Yamato sneaked out of the closet yesterday night for fresh air. I took the opportunity to take a few pictures. The pictures are far from top quality as I just start playing with the camera. Some pictures are with flash and other without.

Great pics of an awesome model! Thanks for sharing!

I was thinking of getting the Missouri or the Bismarck some time back, but the price was way out of my range.

Great looking model. thanks for posting the pictures. Stern with all the catapult detail looks pretty cool.

The ship comes prebuilt. My modelling skills are very poor.

I agree with you about the price. It is expensive. I recently changed the direction of my collection. I rather have fewer pieces but of better quality. I also own the Bismarck and the Missouri. I first got the bismarck for half price since it does not appear to be a big seller. Then I had to have the Missouri and finally to complete the collection, the Yamato. I wish Tamiya masterworks did produce an American aircraft carrier (modern or WWII), a Fletcher class ship, or/and the japanese aircraft carrier submarine.

I knew that! no... I didn't. I've tried modeling but I just don't skills, I used to do it as a kid but my brother was always hogging the scissors and I always ended breaking pieces, stickers and such were also very annoying to me.

Cool Re: tamiya 1:350 Yamato masterworks collection

Awesome vessel! I wouldn't mind models of the last great battleships but if you guys find them pricey there's no hope for me. I'd fancy the Bismarck most though. To think airpower spelt the end of an era for the great battleships....
