A Romanian PZL-11 Joins My Collection

It's not commonly known, but ex-Polish PZL-11 fighters flown by the Romanians, who also license-built their own, fought on the Russian front in 1941.

It's one of my custom-made solid resin 1:72nd scale castings, CC. Had this made about 12 years ago.

I love this airplane and the history of bravery behind it. Wish it would be made in diecast!

Neat looking model and wish someone did the same in diecast. I like they way they staggered the national insignia similar to that of the Poles. I read one source that said that they simply applied markings over the Polish markings. Have the kit, just need to make a 1/48th scale version.
