I'm turning Japanese, I really thinks so.....PICS

Well these are what I've got so far. The HobbyMaster Kate dressed it up and gave the Altaya Hayabusa some company. Now where's those Vals....

In these photos you will see models by:
Corgi
Matchbox
IXO & Altaya
Witty
and HobbyMaster all 1/72 scale.

That's quite a collection of meatballs there Louie. Nice lot. I don't have Raiden, Grace or George but I do like the looks of them all together like that.

Nice, Louie. Aside from the new Kate, which of those Japanese models is your favorite?

I tend to agree with you, Louie. I've always regarded the early Zeros ( Mitsubishi A6M2 ) as the symbol of Japan's air might and, at the same time, one of the most attractive fighters of the early WW II era. Beyond this, I consider the Tony as the most interesting Japanese warbird due to its liquid colled engine and European looks----which is why we initially thought it was a MC-202, hence the name "Tony".

Neat selection of Japanese aircraft. I need to add a few more to my collection.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

I'm happy HM is testing the waters with their Kate. If it wasn't for IXO, our Japanese WW2 collections would be just different marks of the Zero. With the first HM Kate essentially sold out in the US, I'm hoping the Val will make and early appearance. Still a lot of Japanese planes to be done and there does seem to be some collector interest here on the MH2.
