Collection has grown a bit...

Well, since finding this forum and deciding to fill some gaps I've always wanted in different planes...I've grown my collection over the last 3 months by quite a bit:
Dragon P-47 Razorback "Okie" with diorama (very very nice)
EL Patty Ann
FM B-24 Squaw
NB-52 Corgi
B-52 Diamon Lil Corgi
FM IJN Rufe (a bit raw but I like it)
Grand Slam Lanc
B-24 Sky Witch
F-4 RAF Woodbridge ($12 at TM because box was beat up!)
FM HE-111 North Africa
FM P-38 Little Buckaroo
Swordfish Float plane
Various Helicopters
Halifax (nice model even with the turret)
Dragon FW-190 with Diorama (these are very nice, dragon does good job)
probably 10 others can't recall right now....

Collection is filling out nicely with planes that have a meaning or memory for me so this is turning into a very nice collection....Right now the GMP P-40 Texas Longhorn, B-52s, and Dragon P-47, and Black Cat PBY are probably the favorites....

Very nice collection - thanks for sharing!

If you don't mind me asking, who makes the cabinet?

Great looking display you have there.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: Collection has grown a bit...

Thanks for the comments. Very much enjoying the collection, but soon (now) will need a second cabinet. It is an IKEA Norden cabinet, and I added the lights from IKEA for $10.00 each. They sell them as a kit of 6 so you can control from 1 plug - very easy to install. I posted this when first got the cabinet (BTW - it was the Dragon P-47 not Corgi that is a favorite. Corgi is nice...Dragon is great, IMHO. Have FM NGNG on the way so will see how it compares...):
New Cabinet + some new planes

Re: Collection has grown a bit...

Beautiful collection! That Mossie is a beauty! It must weigh a ton. Is it pretty stable on it's stand? I want to add one, but am leary due it's immense size.

Re: Collection has grown a bit...

You have a great start to the collection and I really like the display case! Might have to check into getting one of these.
